From Kate: I have nothing to do with planning or PayPal (don’t even know how to use it) or other details, but I trust Wendy and the others organizing this; it’s not a scam. It’s something that we will do, go on a vacation to salvage some aspect of 2010, and this kind of locks us in. But don’t, don’t, don’t donate if it’s not your scene. I will never see a list of donors or whatever. Just…. people asked, I wanted to deliver. Even if it does feel awkward.

I have a question….what are Kate’s medical bills going to look like? Do they have a maximum out of pocket, or are they going to have to p0ay for all these medical procedures themselves? If they are, should this fund also go to help them pay for the medical expenses? I would love to help in any way I can.
